Chip, I was saddened to learn of Angelia's death and extend my condolences to you and your family. I had the privilege of working with Angelia for two years in former Congressman Mel Watt's office before she retired. Angelia was a walking text book on constituent services in a Congressional office. She was a dedicated public servant and quite passionate about her work. I learned much from her example and am honored to have known her. May the infinite well of God's grace, love and mercy continue to sustain you. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I taught Angela in High School many years ago. When she moved back here, I had promised her deceased sister I would look after her. In doing that we became very close friends and spent a great deal of time together. I will miss her kind and caring nature more than I can express. I learned more from her than I could possibly have taught her. I will miss her every day! Loved her like a sister! RIP my friend!

    Stephanie Southworth says:
I just read Angel's obituary with profound sadness. I remember her as a young girl, when I visited my grandfather Harry Guthrie Brinn in the late '60s at the family farm. A sassy little thing, threatening to "get a switch" if we didn't get in line. Always so full of life and the light of her father's heart. I met her again many years later at the Brinn reunion in 2003, and we laughed about those younger days. I know she will be sorely missed by many. My prayers are with you and your family.

Chip: I share your family's sorrow and express sincere condolences. Angelia was an exemplary public servant, staff member and friend. She was always compassionate and dogged in her pursuit of what our constituents and other citizens were entitled to receive. She was always dedicated to me and to the high standards we set and expected of government servants. Her service to others will continue to speak for her. All my former congressional staffers and Eulada and I share your sorrow and will remember Angelia with fond memories. Let us know if we can help in any way.
