Brien Windley age 68 a resident of Pinetown, NC died at his home on Thursday, March 18, 2021.
A visitation will be held Sunday March 21, 2021 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Joseph B. Paul, Jr & Washington Funeral and Cremation.
A private family burial will follow.
Brien was born in Beaufort County on December 21, 1952 the son of Leonard Windley, Sr. and the late Pauline Ambrose Windley. He was a member of the Free Union Free Will Baptist Church. Brien enjoyed gardening, woodworking, cutting his grass as often as possible sometimes even before it had a chance to grow and was relaxing in his rocking chair on his porch every opportunity he got. He had a great love for his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Brien is survived by his wife Nancy Windley of the home, a son: Glendon Windley, step-son Adam Fyle, four grandchildren: Farah Fyle, Bristol Fyle, Cameron Windley, Ryan Windley, three brothers: Gary Windley and wife Pat, Charles Windley and wife Michelle, John Windley and wife Susan and special friend and former boss: Jimmy Fortesque.
