Conner Delane Clark, born on January 27, 1997, in Beaufort County, NC, left this world on September 3, 2023, in Grimesland, NC. He was a dedicated welder and fabricator who poured his heart and soul into his work.
Throughout his life, Conner found joy in the simple pleasures that life had to offer. He had an undeniable love for cars and trucks, finding solace in their mechanics and intricacies. Conner had a unique talent for taking things apart and putting them back together, always striving to improve and enhance them.
One of Conner’s most admirable qualities was his loyalty to his friends. He valued the bonds he formed with others and cherished the moments spent in the company of those close to him. A perfect night for Conner was just him and a few friends gathered around a bonfire, grilling steaks and dragging out the guns for a few rounds of target practice. He was a easy-going man with simple tastes, who enjoyed those small easy pleasures in life.
Conner will be deeply missed by his loving mother, Tamara J. Clark, his devoted father, Stephen L. Clark, and his supportive brother, Nash Clark. He leaves behind his beautiful daughter, Braelynn Grace, who was the light of his life. Additionally, he is survived by a large extended family and countless friends who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Services to celebrate Conner’s life will be held on Sunday, September 17, with visitation starting at 2:00pm and ending at 3:30pm at Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service. A short service will follow in the Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Pastor Gene Williams. At 4:00pm, the immediate family will gather for a private interment in the meditation garden at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
Conner Clark may no longer be physically present among us, but his spirit will forever live on in the memories and hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. May his inspiring journey serve as a reminder to appreciate life’s simple pleasures and to cherish the connections we forge with others.
A Note From The Family
With grateful and open hearts, we extend many thanks for the outpouring of compassion, love, and acts of kindness shown to us during this trying time. Our hearts will be forever marked by an emptiness and our world has been robbed of light and color. But our pain is lessened by the love we feel from all who have honored Conner. -Steve, Tamara, Nash, and Braelynn
