David Evan Landing, age 26 of Washington, passed away on March 7, 2022 in Inwood, WV.

He was born on March 15, 1995 to David and Regina Landing. Following high school Evan began his career as a heavy equipment operator. Currently he was employed by IGS in West Virginia. Evan loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and riding off road. He loved his family, friends and his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mahlon and Helen Moore, paternal grandparents, Putt and Agnes Landing.

Evan is survived by his mother and father, Regina and David Landing of Washington, NC; brother Mason Landing of Ft. Riley, KS and step maternal grandmother Margaret Phelps of Plymouth, NC. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 7pm with visitation following at Joseph B. Paul, Jr. Funeral Service of Washington, NC. Officiating will be the Rev. Bobby Owens.

For those unable to attend the service will be live streamed starting at 7PM. After the live stream the service will be uploaded to the obituary for later viewing (the process may take up to two hours following the live streamed service).
