Billy Joe and Family We are very sorry for your loss. Donna was a great person, and she was a great friend. Donna's faith was strong, and I know she is in heaven looking down. Donna would have never thought that a school would have shut down just for her. But that goes to show how she touched the people around her. She definitely had a kind heart, and she will be missed by all.

    Margie Cooke-Tankard says:
Seems like it was yesterday that I would drop Donna off at home for lunch and go and pick her back up then we'd head back to the tobacco patch. Donna grew up in Pinetown and attended Pinetown Elementary School, had wonderful parents and a sister, Donna also had a heart of gold and a smile that could brighten up any child's morning, I can see so clearly her standing out each morning waiting for the busses to roll in at Bath Elementary. Donna and I reconnected at Bath and shared alot of memories, with me being a bit other than she, she would giggle and she would ask me every day if remember things from years past and I'd say, Girl stop...nothing bad, just little things that she and I felt were so funny back in the day. To the family of Donna she was an amazing girl, she loved life regardless, always reminding others to pray about it. She will be missed by so many young & old, she was dedicated to those she loved. Sending my deepest heartfelt condolences to the Family and so many prayers for the Children & Staff an Bath Elementary School. God Welcomed A Beautiful Soul Home !

I am at a loss for words. From EES to BES, we ended up transferring at the same time. I was so glad to know you as a friend, and you will never be forgotten. You never said a mean word about anyone and you always listened when I needed a shoulder to cry on. I know you will be missed by many. I know by our conversations, you knew the Lord , so I take comfort in knowing I will see you again, my friend. I will not be saying goodbye for that is a forever thing, but I take from you, a truly blessed friendship and a memory that will never forget the laughter we shared, especially when we talked about your ol' classmates and the old BES gym. Donna, sincerely my tears can not bring you back, but knowing that you are in the blessed arms of the Holy One can satisfy me for now. I was fortunate to call you my friend, my co-worker and my sister in Christ. Until we meet again, my love and heart goes out to your family and friends .
