Dorothy “Dot” Hart Moye age 96 a resident of 108 Waterford Place, Washington passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 at River Trace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Chocowinity, NC. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM until the service hour. Burial will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park in Greenville, NC 27834.
Mrs. Moye was born on January 22, 1923 tin Greene County (Ormondsville) the daughter of the late Ray and Gladys Hart. She was married to James Franklin (J.F.) Moye who preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons: Frank Moye and wife Lib of Chocowinity, NC and William Moye and wife Conya of Columbia, NC; a sister: Hagar B. Jackson of Hookerton, NC, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, one niece and a nephew.
