Gail Patrick Jefferson, 69, of Washington went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2020. She passed away at Vidant Beaufort Hospital holding the hands of her children.

She was born on June 24, 1951 to Ralph and Rosalee Patrick of Tyrrell County.

Gail is survived by two brothers David Patrick of Columbia, NC, and Gregory Patrick of Washington, NC. Her three children Ronald Newlin, and Melissa Winstead of Washington, N.C. and Billie-Jo Newlin of New Bern, N.C. Her grandchildren Stephanie Boyd, William Boyd, and Jaxon Winstead, along with her great great grandchildren Paisley Gibson, and Brynlee Boyd.

Gail was a valued employee with Acre Station Meat Farm. She attended New Life United Pentecostal Church. Gail enjoyed spreading the gospel with all she knew, for she cared for everyone’s soul. Her biggest enjoyment of life was spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be held at the New Life United Pentecostal Church, located at 352 Old Bath Highway Washington, NC Saturday November 14th at 2pm.

The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 12:30 until the service hour. Burial will follow at the Edwards Cemetery.
