Jack L. Swanner, Jr. age 56, a resident of Washington, NC passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, March 29, 2021 at Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Joseph B. Paul Jr. & Washington Funeral & Cremation and other times at the home..

Jack was born in Beaufort County on August 18, 1964 the son of the late Jack L. Swanner and Clara Tripp Swanner, who survives.
He loved playing golf and was a member of the Washington Country Club. He enjoyed socializing at many of the local restaurants in downtown Washington. Jack also enjoyed spending time on his farm in Chocowinity.

He is survived by his son: Jeremy Swanner of Bath, NC; a sister: Donna Daigle and husband John of Greenville, NC; a brother: Kevin Swanner of Chocowinity, NC and fiancée Brenda Rowe of Washington, NC.

    I haven't seen Jack in years but back when I would run into him around town, he was always friendly, smiling and happy. Just a joy to know and see around. Those random run-ins will be missed. He was a good guy. Sending love to his family during this time.
