John “Jack” Michael Pishnock

John “Jack” Michael Pishnock age 81, a resident of Kelly Road in Bath, NC passed away Friday February 26, 2021 at his home. John was born July 22, 1939 in Plymouth, Pennsylvania to the late Emma & John Pishnock. He served his country in the United States Army as an MP where he met his wife Elizabeth Credle Pishnock of 63 years. Jack retired from PCS formerly Texas Gulf. He was a family man that loved everyone and never met a stranger. He was a deacon at St. Clair’s Church of Christ in Bath, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Credle Pishnock, one daughter: Ronda Pishnock Brooks and husband Anthony Harris of Washington, NC, one son, Michael Reid Pishnock and wife Robin Hall Pishnock of Bath, NC, one granddaughter, Kaytlin Victoria Pishnock, five grandsons: Ryan Burbage, Jay Etchison, Jr., John Michael Pishnock, III, Jonathon Peter Brooks and Steven Granville Brooks, three great grandchildren: Raina Etchison, Erin Haley Burbage and Peyton Harvey. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two daughters: Beverly Denise Pishnock and Kimberly Pishnock Etchison, one son, John Michael Pishnock, Jr., one sister, Colleen Ann Nelson.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday March 2, 2021 at St. Clair’s Church of Christ, officiated by Craig Hagen. Burial will follow at St. Clair’s church cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Joseph B Paul Jr./ Washington Funeral & Cremation.

    We are so sorry about Jack. He was one nice man. Tommy delivered propane gas to him for years and I met him in a doctor's waiting room several years ago. Imagine that at our age!!! Then once in awhile we would see him in a grocery store. Always had a smile on his face! May God bless and comfort all of his family as only He can is our prayers

    So sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Jack. He would come to hear my Daddy (Sam Dixon) and the rest of the band play music and sing. He loved it so. He would just sing along . Always a smile on his face. Tell my Daddy hello for us Mr. Jack.
