Kathy Sue Adams (Haddock), a resident of Grifton, NC passed away peacefully at her sister’s home surrounded by family and friends. Kathy was born July 16, 1954 to the late Edna Futrell Adams and George Victor Adams in Lenoir County, NC. She was a 1972 graduate of Ayden Grifton High School. Kathy enjoyed playing cards, reading, and loved chatting on the internet. She really enjoyed watching any home improvement shows. One of her favorite things to do was spending time with her daughter, grandsons and her canine friend Jaxon who preceded her in death six days prior. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Terry Lin Haddock in 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Sue Haddock (Chris Skiles) of Plymouth, NC, two grandsons; Timothy Adam Avery and Joshua Martin Avery both of Grifton, NC, one sister, Kaye Adams Ward of Grifton, NC and one nephew, Michael Paul Adams (Richelle) of Edenton, NC. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
