Malene Irons Vincent age 60, a resident of 72 Gail Avenue, Chocowinity, NC died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at her home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Vincent was born on October 21, 1957 in Pitt County the daughter of the late Henry Smith and Ida Mae Haddock Smith. She loved anything to do with the outdoors, especially flowers and keeping a garden until her health wouldn’t allow her to. Malene enjoyed crocheting, her dogs Fluffy Gail, Bellarose, Vince Ray but her family and especially the time she spent with her granddaughter, Hailey “Doll Baby” and all the grandchildren where closest to her heart.
She is survived by her two sons: Christopher Vincent and fiancée Sue Ann Muse who was like a daughter to Mrs. Vincent of Chocowinity, NC; Tony Vincent, Jr. and wife Dera of Washington, NC; the love of her life for the past 12 years: Billy Scherer of Chocowinity, NC and five grandchildren: Hailey Malene Vincent, David Vincent, EniJae Vincent, Makayla Vincent and Tony Vincent lll. Malene was preceded in death by a sister: Frances Smith and a brother: Buddy Smith.
