I am so sorry to hear about Mark. We went to school together from kindergarten to 12th grade. Sometimes we would carpool together in high school and I remember having a lot of good laughs with him on our drives to school. He was such a nice guy and always so kind to me. He will be missed. Thinking about all of you during this time.

So so sorry to hear about Mark. I just saw him a few weeks ago...knew him from going to Northside. It seemed like I was always bumping into him or him and Jessica in town somewhere and I can't ever think of one time that he didn't go out of his way to come up to me and speak and give me a hug. Just an all around nice guy and I know he will be greatly missed by many.

    Brandy Allen says:
I first met Mark in high school. I saw him in the hallway wearing the same t-shirt as me. I was in the same grade as his brother Kirk. He always had a smile on his face. Despite whatever took place he could always make light of it. He was a gifted guitar player and one of the best at chess. Him and Jess were so good to me and my children. Logan and Luke vividly remember walks in the woods with him, bonfires, being toted high in the air on his shoulders, and playing video games.

Having moved away from Beaufort county I lost touch with him and many others, but the memories are many and fond. I loved when he'd come over and ask me to make giant chef salads for him. I even let him drink out of our milk jug lol. I know this isn't poetic in the least, but he knows how I am. Mark was always very intelligent. He lived his friends like family and was very protective over us all. I know he'll be keeping an eye on us from Heaven. Thank you to his parents for raising such a good soul. And to Kirk and Jess stay strong. I'm always here for you all. I will continue to pray and know that he's in a good place.
