On Saturday, November 20, 2021, God called Pamela Marie Starkie home in her eternal rest.
Pamela, also known to most as Pam, was born in Washington, NC on April 19, 1965, to Herman and Emma Windley. Pam attended Beaufort County Schools in her early life, and later went on to graduate from Beaufort Community College and Mount Olive College. At the time of her passing, Pam was a dedicated employee of Washington Housing Authority, where all of her residents adored her. Pam loved the Lord and was a dedicated member of Mount Hebron Disciples Church of Christ. Pam enjoyed riding with her husband and the 95 East Touring Bikers Club. Pam also loved traveling with her husband, spending time with her loved ones, and helping anyone in need.
Pam leaves to cherish her memory: her husband of 22 years, Bennie “Jack” Starkie of Washington, NC; her parents, Herman and Emma Windley of Washington, NC; two sons, Wayne Windley of Washington, NC and Derek Lee (Me’Chele) of Raleigh, NC; one daughter, Latoya Bryant (Jamie) of Greenville, NC; three grandchildren, Clover Lee, Deren Lee, and Jaime Bryant; two sisters, Nita Williams (Ronald) of Washington, NC and Shirley Loomes of Chase City, VA; two brothers, Herman Windley Jr. of Raleigh, NC and Danny Windley Jr. of Washington, NC; mother in-law Mary Starkie of Chocowinity, NC; three God children, Quinteria Hill, Keith Keyes, and Keisha Clark, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Pam was proceeded in death by her brother, Danny Windley Sr.; her sister, Teresa Moore; and her grandmother Callie Mae Windley.
