Patricia “Pat’ Rogers

Patricia “Pat” Ann Rogers passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 from pneumonia after a yearlong fight with vascular dementia.

A private family “Celebration of Life” will be held in lieu of a service.

Pat was born on June 15, 1947 in Washington, D.C. to Edwin and Irene Ruff.
She was world-renowned for not holding back her opinion, with a knack for telling it like it is. Pat was a strong woman who wasn’t afraid of anyone or anything. All who loved her dearly will never forget her tenacity, wit, grace (when pertinent) and undying love and caring for them.

Pat is survived by her husband: Donald Rogers, her three children and spouses: Beth and Doug Votroubek, Rebecca Shaw, and John and Carolyn Shaw, her three stepsons: Joshua Rogers, Brandon Rogers, and Jonathon Rogers, grandchildren: Christian, Emily, Connor, Grace, Isiah, Sarah, and Caleb. She is also survived by a host of loving in-laws and longtime friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make a donation to the American National Red Cross found at: www.redcross.org an organization founded by Clara Barton to honor Pat’s life long passion and career of helping others.

Messages of condolences are welcomed at www.josephpaulfdl.com.

Joseph B. Paul, Jr. Funeral Director Licensee of Washington is serving the Rogers family.
