Nanna was a handful. She was a woman who liked to do what she wanted to do and if she didn’t… she would let you know. She worked different jobs throughout her life but always worked hard. She fiercely loved her children, grandchildren, her great grandchildren, and her little dog Bojangles.

Phoebe is survived by her son: Leonard Jones Jr., daughter: Joyce Jones, two grandsons: Little Leonard Jones and Michael Lee Tomblin, great granddaughter: Aleena Orr, Sister: Hilda Locklear, brother: Earl Campbell and her “bonus son” Buddy Tripp, nieces and nephews; Johnny, Timmy, Vickie, Teresa, Joe Jr., Sandra, Christie, Heather, Julie – and all their children and her many, many friends!!

Along with her parents, Phoebe was preceded in death by her husband: Leonard (Pete) Jones Sr., daughter: Betty Lou Jones, Sister and Brother -in- law Joe and Carrie Jones, and her grandson Nathan Orr.

Phoebe’s illness has been a long, complicated, and expensive battle. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to help defray the costs that her illness has created and may be made by clicking the link below.
