Regina Matos ,62, of Washington, passed away on December 2, 2020 at the home of her daughter.

She was born on September 16, 1958 to the late Francisco and Georgina Matos in Brooklyn, NY.

Ms. Matos is survived by her daughter Jennifer and husband Ahmed Suhail of Washington, her son Herman Ruiz (Patricia Crowny) of Knoxville, TN, her daughter Regina Ruiz and husband Claudio Morales, her son Christopher Ruiz (Kelly Ann Simon) of Brooklyn, NY, and her daughter Denise Lopez (Frederick Blake) of Poughkeepsie, NY.

She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Justin, Linda, Christopher Jr., Antonio, Sean, Brianna, Evan, Donavan, and Nader.

Regina was known for her love of horror movies and will be incredibly missed.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2020, 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service, Washington Funeral & Cremation, Washington, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, 11:00 am at Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service, Washington Funeral & Cremation, Washington, NC with Elder Ronnie Lawrence officiating.
