Robert, often called Robert Earl, was born August 19, 1979 to the late Marvin (Bud) Earl Carrow of Chocowinity, NC. Robert Earl was a talented welder that was highly sought after for his “golden arm”. He was often called in to work on impossible tasks, and he always got her done! He was a bonafide WELDA! Welding was not Robert’s only passion, he was an avid hunter and fisherman as well. He also loved to go to the mountains where he enjoyed the serenity of all God created. It is there where he spent hours going on horseback trail rides with his loved ones. Robert was a true Iron Cowboy.

Robert will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by Ex-Wife Hessy Bateman and daughter Jessy Bateman. His sister Bridget Warren of Goldsboro, North Carolina. His mother Mrs. Shirley O’Loughlin of Elizabeth City, His sister Ms. Jo Ann Gummere of Elizabeth City, and his niece Mrs. Yvette Potts of Edenton. His Aunt Mrs. Linda Griffin of Arapahoe. His Cousins: Mr. Alton Griffin, Jeremy Griffin, Mr. Kevin Griffin, Ms. Sherry Day, and Ms. Elizabeth Jones of Pamlico County. Robert Earl was predeceased by: his grandfather Robert Earl Carrow, his grandmother Alberta Boyd Carrow Hodges, and his father Marvin (Bud) Earl Carrow of Chocowinity.

All of Robert’s friends and family know how much Robert loved to smile and tell jokes. He loved to laugh, and he was very close to his family. He will be missed more than words can express. Family and friends are asked to please help celebrate the joy of having Robert in our lives by attending a service in remembrance of him.

Rest easy brother, you were a good dude. We had some good talks and some good times blowing it in at about 165 with the free hand. I'm sure Jesus will thank you for talking so highly of him. See ya on the other side of the bushes brother

My dear Uncle, Buddy Roe. You were loved by so many. A talented young man with a heart of gold. A highly skilled Welder and you could fix anything, with ease. You loved all genres of music from 10,000 maniacs to Slick Rick. You had the most wonderful sounding laugh that was contagious & a smile that would light up a room. We are all better people because of you, my Buddy Roe. We will miss and love you forever. We know you are in the arms of God and no doubt- you made God laugh when he threw his arms around you. Rest easy and know you will NEVER be forgotten.
