Roxanne (Teri) Muse, beloved wife, sister, mother, and aunt, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2024, at the age of 71. She was born on November 22, 1952, in Hartford City, IN, to the late Margarette and William H. O’Connell.
Roxanne was a warm-hearted and caring person who dedicated her life to nurturing and helping others. As a nanny and library enthusiast, she brought joy and knowledge to the children she cared for and the community she served.
In addition to her work, Roxanne had a deep passion for wildflowers, children, pets, angels, crafts, and artwork. She found solace and inspiration in nature’s beauty, sharing her love for these things with those around her.
Roxanne’s family meant the world to her. She was married to her loving husband, Terry Lee Muse, for 52 incredible years. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Roxanne was also a devoted sister to Dana Stiles and her sister-in-law Sandee Allen.
As a mother, Roxanne’s love knew no bounds. Her son, Phillip Randall, and his wife Audrey were fortunate to have had her unwavering support and guidance throughout life’s journey. She was a source of strength and inspiration to them both.
Roxanne radiated warmth and kindness, touching the lives of everyone she met. She leaves behind a nephew, Shane Stiles, his wife Tanya, and many more nieces and nephews who adored her dearly.
Along with her parents, Roxanne was preceded in death by her sister Jacqueline morrow and her brother-in-law Larry Stiles.
A memorial service to celebrate the beautiful life of Roxanne will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 1:00pm at the Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Home. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00pm until the service hour.

Although we mourn Roxanne’s passing, we find comfort in knowing that her spirit will forever live on in our hearts. Her unconditional love, infectious smile, and kind soul will continue to inspire us all. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
