Sarah Rose Serrano age 21, a resident of Aurora, NC died Friday, February 8, 2019.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Edward Christian Church officiated by Pastor David Linton. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
Sarah Rose was born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania on August 7, 1997. Sarah touched the lives of everyone she ever came in contact with. The thing she loved doing the most was spending time with her son, family and friends. Her son Ritchie was the light of her life, the center of her world, and the apple of her eye. Nothing made her happier than the laughter of her baby boy. She could never sit still, she always had to be doing something to keep herself busy whether it was laughing and joking with people or taking “selfies”. Anytime that you would talk to Sarah she would have you laughing uncontrollably. She was always the “rock” that everybody could lean on. When she walked into a room the whole room would instantly light up. Sarah will be greatly missed by her mother, her father, her son, her siblings, all her family, and her friends.
She is survived by her mother: Melissa Southard and dad: Jason Southard of Aurora, NC; a son: Ritchie Serrano Southard of Aurora, NC; a sister: Jackie Miloro and husband Scott of Aurora, NC; two brothers: Michael Serrano and fiancee Madison of Newport, NC; Matthew Serrano of Aurora, NC; maternal grandmother: Myra Shields of Aurora, NC; maternal grandfather: Tom Shields of Aurora, NC; paternal grandmother: Rosa Gonzalez, two nieces: Sophia and Secilia Miloro, two step-sisters: Taylor Tewkesbury and Courtney Southard and many uncles, aunts and cousins who loved her. She was preceded in death by her father: George Serrano who died on January 19, 1997.

I remember all the night's I stayed over and the headaches we gave mom. What I would give to laugh with you just one more time.
