In loving memory of Sharon Mae Dixon Bland age 69 passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Vidant Medical Heart Center in Greenville NC.
A memorial service will be held at12:00 PM Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Graceway Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by Pastor Linwood Lewis.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM until the service hour at the church.
Sharon was born on May 25, 1950 in Beaufort County the daughter of the late Samuel Dixon and Allie Gray Dixon.
She attended Graceway Pentecostal Holiness Church. Sharon will be loved and missed by many.
Sharon was reunited with her mother and father Allie Gray and Sammy Dixon. She was a loving,wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Sharon Bland left behind her husband: James Harvey Bland of Washington, NC; two daughters: Sandie Lea Bland and Sandra Dea Bland, six wonderful grand kids Ashlie Nichole Wiggins, James Harvey Bland, Jr., Samuel Douglas Bland, Sharon Elizabeth Bland, Jacob Allen Morris and Shawn-Thomas Skinner as well as two great grandchildren Carolina Jones and Christopher Dawson.

    Sharon was loved by so many at Walmart. She was more than a friend she was Walmart family. I loved her so much and her personality..never afraid to speak her mind and it didn't matter who you were. Let her get going she would have us all laughing! She was a fire cracker to say the least. That was the good old days. She will be greatly miss! I pray for her family as y'all go thought the coming days, weeks and even months to come.
