Stephanie Ramsey Sparrow, age 44, passed away on April 7, 2024. She was born on October 3, 1979. Stephanie is survived by her children Stephen Sparrow, Emily Sparrow, Violet Ramsey, and Logan Sparrow. She is also remembered by her grandchildren Costa Leggett, Tara Sparrow, and JC Leggett.

She is preceded in death by her mother Ruth Hudson, stepfather Sammy Curling, brother Jason Curling, and sister Collie Ramsey. She is also survived by her siblings Todd Ramsey, William “Billy” Ramsey, Sammy Curling Jr., CJ Ramsey, and Tori Goodman.

Stephanie lived in the Bath community. She was a loving, outgoing and free spirit who enjoyed the freedom of life.  She loved to travel to see new places and meet new
faces. She never knew a stranger making conversation with everyone she met.  She had a tremendous love for nature and loved all animals. Her greatest joy in life were her four children and her grandchildren. She took pride in nurturing and taking care of people as well as animals. She was a very bright, outgoing woman who had a smile that was contagious and could light up even the darkest of rooms. She will be missed by so many people who she connected with during her journey through life, especially her children. Her spirit will live on through all the great memories she has left behind.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bethany Methodist Church, 2766 S Savannah Rd., Belhaven NC 27810.
