Tomie Lee Ivey, Jr. age 63 died Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington.
Tomie was born August 22,1956 to the late Doris Williams Crutchfield and Tomie Lee Ivey, Sr. in Wake County, NC.
He married Rebecca Croom Ivey on June 3, 1989, in Beaufort County NC. Tomie lived at 1768 Possum Hill Road, Bath, NC. Along with his wife, he is survived by his two children; Jordan Leigh Ivey and husband Brandon Lee of Bear Grass, NC; Charles Samuel Ivey and significant other “Pudge” of Bath, NC; five sisters:Jane Bass and husband Philip of Washington, Juanita White of Washington, Gloria Hayslett and husband Mike of South Hill Virginia, Norma Crutchfield of South Hill Virginia, and Dawn Taylor and husband Alan of Scranton SC; a grandson: Adonis K. Lee. He was also loved by three nieces and 3 nephews, 6 great nieces and 3 great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Diabetes Association or The American Heart Association In Remembrance of Tomie Lee Ivey, Jr.
