Travis Wayne Manning

Travis Wayne Manning age 57, a resident of NC Hwy 43 South Grimesland, NC died Tuesday February 13, 2018.

A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Friday February 23, 2018 at Washington Assembly of God in Washington. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:30 PM until the funeral hour at the church.

Mr. Manning was born in Beaufort County on December 30, 1960 the son of the late Roy Junior Manning. He married Zelda Dee Silverthorne on September 23, 1989 who survives. Travis enjoyed hunting, fishing, boat riding and most anything to do with the outdoors. He loved watching westerns and was an avid NASCAR fan, but he was best known for being a first class mechanic. You could always find him working on trucks, cars, or anything that had a mechanical problem. He loved his family and will be greatly missed by them and all that knew him.

Along with his wife Zelda Manning of the home he is survived by four daughters: Zelda Manning II, Shannon Dee Crawford and husband Rob, Jessica Marie Stox and Crystal Dawn Manka; four sons: Travis Wayne Manning Jr., Travis Wayne Manning III and wife Jessica, Joseph Thomas Manning and Michael Hardison and wife Brandi; two sisters: Connie Manning and Wanda Manning Smith; nine grandsons and five granddaughters.
