A visitation will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Joseph B. Paul, Jr Funeral Service.
Vivian was born October 16, 1943 to the late Doris Walker and Louis Walker in Accomack County, Virginia.
She was a wonderful wife and mother. She was a hard worker at home and away. She and Aunt Madia Payne sold insurance door to door for years in between farming seasons. She spent long days working in fields pulling transplants then dropping them on the planter, chopping the weeds then working the harvest. looping and tying tobacco or weighting cucumbers or peppers sometimes non-stop day and night. She would spend hours at night helping with homework and cooking. She also raised many kinds of exotic poultry from Bobwhite Quail to Blue Shoulder Peafowl. When our family stopped farming, she went to work at a local store in Pantego called Capt. Bucks till retiring to home. She loved animals so she had small birds and puppies even goldfish and Beta fish at times. She even raised baby deer and had a bobcat she bottle raised and we would bring her into the house to play.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Debbie Walker, Terry Walker, Jeff Walker and one grandson: Matthew Parker.
She is survived by her daughter: Brenda Sue Keech, her son: Wayne Keech and his wife Robyn, two sisters: Gail Walker & Shelley Adams, her grandchildren: Pristina Renee Keech, Kevin Baird Jr, and wife Kayla, Brandy Baird, Jamie Keel and husband Paul and Joshua Parker, her great grandchildren: Jasmin Sky Holland, Autumn Keel, Sam Keel, Natalie, Phillip, Tyler, Hailey, Christian, Colton and Khora.
With a heavy heart we send Vivian Keech to be home with our Heavenly Father but have joy in knowing her suffering here on earth is no more. She is with those who went before her and will be in the Glory we are promised by our Lord and Savior. It is not goodbye but till we meet again, we send you with love from those who are still here.
